Endsight President Matthew McLean in early 2022 became a part-owner in a trading company that imports finished cashews directly from its production partners in Africa – cutting out the processing middlemen of Vietnam and preserving the value-add in local communities.

Matt joins the father and son ownership team of Yogie Kanagarajah and Rathan Yogi. SANO is headquartered in New York City with offices in Washington DC and Casablanca. We seek long-term relationship with small- and medium-sized buyers in the United States.

Currently, SANO cashews are supplied by growers and processors in Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa. Our Ivorian supplier is fully registered with the US FDA and has certifications for HAACP and non-GMO products that are pasteurized before exporting. SANO is visiting similar suppliers in Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania, and Mozambique to ensure our sourcing is robust and diversified.

SANO received its first container of 15 tons of assorted cashews at Port Elizabeth, NJ in early 2022, which were quickly sold to a wholesaler. Our current capacity is three containers per month with a wide variety of grades of cashew nuts at competitive pricing (see attached price list). We have a packaging partner in New Jersey with over 40-years of experience to ensure the buyer receives the product ready to put on the shelf when requested.

For the European market, we are reviewing shipping options through Istanbul, Turkey to potential buyers in Germany, Italy, the UK, Netherlands, and France (packaged in Istanbul, if requested).
